New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston and former Buffalo Bills star Andre Reed each grabbed a headset and coached the Stampede Saturday in Harrisburg's 80-15 win over the Tri-State Redhawks.

With Harrisburg comfortably leading in the fourth quarter, Colston, who part-owns the franchise, called formations as a defensive coordinator. Colston's first appearance was a short one; Vincent Tiberi of the Stampede returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown on the very first play.

Reed, who was a special guest of Stampede coach Bernie Nowotarski, called offensive plays during a five-play, 38-yard drive which resulted in a 22-yard touchdown toss to Eugene Goodman from Josh Finafrock to make the score 74-9.

Reed attended a private meet-and-greet for Stampede corporate partners and season ticket holders before the game and also signed autographs at Harrisburg Mall earlier in the day. He was also promoting his Over the Middle barbecue sauce.
